We love a vineyard wedding (or at least the idea of one - as there are not many in South Wales!), and this sweet wedding held at Lucchesi Vineyards in California is no exception. It’s 24 degrees here in the UK as I type this, so this blog post from sunny California seems all the more fitting!
The incredible green vineyards, homemade cookies for dessert and a reception full of meaningful DIY touches from family and friends are just some of the special details of Rebecca & Joseph’s day. Our ‘Handlettered’ suite was used for the stationery with floral elements which echoed the bridesmaids dresses and bouquets.
Rebecca chose St. Patrick’s Catholic Church because it is the church that she grew up attending: “I wanted to be married–and in the Catholic faith it is a sacrament–in the same place I received all my other sacraments. I like the feeling of continuity, history, and rootedness.” At the reception the tables were marked by library cards, with the names the couple’s favourite authors. Guests were sat at tables where they had read the author or had some connection to the author.
